Making art products is the easy. The photography and marketing is where the real work begins. Take the “Ghost Cup” for instance. I had been planning on producing these since late August giving me enough lead time to have my marketing ready for the Halloween season. For marketing purposes I need two types of images. Controlled studio shots for my online retail platforms that show the products detail and beauty and “action shots” of my products in the real world being used by beautiful people. The new Baby Head Cup© that I produced this year with glow in the dark glass is a dynamic piece and even more fun to shoot. I staged a photo shoot in my studio using black lights to accent my already glowing cups and hilarity ensued.
